- You may notice mosquitoes love to swarm around people and pets, especially mosquitoes. This is because you are their food! Mosquitoes are wired to be attracted to warm blooded bodies.

The best thing to do to prevent having to deal with these skin irritations is to prevent getting bitten in the first place. Plus even one itchy bite can ruin the enjoyment of doing outdoor activities. Prevention is always better than a cure. But you cannot go outdoors with your clothes covering your entire body all the time. This is the part where insect repellents come in so you can wear comfortable clothes without the risk of getting insect bites.
