BugMD Mosquito Amigo is a ready-to-use, household-friendly Mosquito, Flea, & Tick Yard Spray that offers a potent, effective, plant powered solution for outdoor insect control safe to use in yards and outdoor spaces.

Our plant-powered mosquito control is made with natural ingredients like lemongrass and thyme oils that are known for their insect-repelling properties. When sprayed in the yard, the Mosquito Amigo formula works by creating an invisible barrier that repels and kills mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks upon contact. This product is a safe and effective alternative to chemical-based insecticides, making it ideal for families with children and pets who want to enjoy their yard without the worry of harmful chemicals. You can use it on lawns, bushes, and trees.

Mosquito Amigo should be reapplied every two weeks, and for dry regions, every 4 weeks.
The product should be applied 1-3 days before parties or high use events for best results.
The product is safe to use around people and pets when used as directed.
To protect bees and other pollinators, please avoid applying Mosquito Amigo directly to them.
The formula is made with natural ingredients, which are safe and non-toxic.

Effectiveness

When applied as a direct/contact-kill spray:

100% mortality: Argentine ants, black flies, cat flea larvae, house flies, and yellow fever mosquitoes — within 30 minutes-2 hours
90-98% mortality: bed bug, brown dog tick, cat flea adult, and red imported fire ant — after 24 hours
90% mortality: deer ticks — after 2 days
85% mortality: American cockroach — after 2 days
The untreated control populations recorded 5% mortality during the study.

Repellency test

85% repellency: Fleas (VS 13% repellency with the untreated population)
83% Abbott’s corrected repellency within 6 hours after applications
89%-100%: Mosquitoes
Abbott’s corrected repellency when tested during the 2.5-8-hour aged evaluations
