About the Hose-End Spray

  • Mosquito Amigo uses an applicator called a “hose-end sprayer”. It’s a convenient, effective tool commonly used to apply liquid products like insecticides, fertilizers, and herbicides to large areas such as lawns, gardens, and yards quickly and efficiently.
  • To use the sprayer, first attach it to the end of a garden hose. Then, attach the nozzle, fitting it into the mouth of the bottle. Adjust the settings on the sprayer according to the product label instructions.
  • Once you turn the water on, it passes through the spray head on top of the bottle and creates a vacuum that draws the liquid product up the tube to the top of the spray head. As the water and product mix, they are sprayed out through the nozzle at the end of the spray head, creating a wide and even spray pattern that covers a large area.

The spray can be applied directly to outdoor plants and surfaces, creating a protective barrier against a wide range of nuisance insects. The formula allows for wide outdoor coverage making it an effective solution for large outdoor spaces. And because it only contains plant essential oils, no harsh chemicals, and low toxicity on non-target pests, it is eco-friendly and safe when used as directed.
